Hello, Iβm Yukta, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I strongly believe that the journey of a thousand steps begins with one and today, you can take the very first step. Reaching out for support can be challenging and I commend your courage in taking care of yourself. My professional trainings and personal experiences help me in understanding what youβre going through personally and provide professional interventions to deal with it. Individual, Adolescent/Teen Therapy
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Certified Music Therapist, I provide music and verbal psychotherapy for children, youth, adults, and older adults whose concerns may include self-worth, loss and grief, depression, stress, anxiety, spirituality, ableism, and transitions in life.
I completed my Master in Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, and have worked in private practice, rehabilitation, hospitals, long-term care homes, and community organizations providing psychotherapy for concerns such as physical, developmental, intellectual disability autism, ADHD, neurodivergence, depression, multiple chronic illnesses, dementia, and mood disorders. I am always looking to learn and grow in different ways of living and believe that music psychotherapy is an accessible medium that overcomes physical, linguistic, and social barriers when people have space and support for self-expression, creative exploration, and agency over their life stories.
I am open to working with any person at any age, though my clients are usually youth, adults, or older adults, individually or in group therapy. During a session, we may integrate music psychotherapy, person-centred, resource-centred, strength-based theories through an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed perspective for a positive process facilitating growth and change that corresponds with your goals.
I am a Certified Music Therapist as a member of the Canadian Association of Music Therapy, and Certification Board for Music Therapists.
Outside of sessions, I look forward to screenwriting, cooking comforting meals, creating music, hoping that this is the year for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Individual, Adolescent/Teen, Couples, & Family Therapy
Hi there, Iβm Xenia! Thank you for taking the time to explore whether we might be a good fit for your therapeutic journey.
As a relational therapist with a culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive approach, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore whatβs on your mind and gain clarity around how youβd like to show up for yourself and for others. I believe that you are the expert of your own inner world and experiences, and my role is to walk alongside you as we work together to uncover and nurture the changes that feel right for you.
I approach therapy with a collaborative mindset, incorporating a systemic lens that considers how you exist not just as an individual, but in connection with others, society, and the larger world around you. By exploring these dynamics, we can create meaningful change that is grounded in your values and experiences.
In our sessions, I strive to be authentically curious about your story, helping you make sense of past experiences, and supporting you in reclaiming your agency where you have control. I believe that everyone has their own inner wisdom and resilience, and I have found that bringing them to light can give clients the confidence to know that have been and are resilient beings.
I work with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including personal or cultural identity, anxiety and depression, interpersonal conflict, neurodiversity, grief and ambiguous loss, and life transitions. I also support couples around issues related to cultural differences, intimacy, infidelity, and parenting.
If you feel that my approach resonates with you, Iβd love to offer a free consultation to see if we might be a good fit. Please donβt hesitate to reach out!

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and professional art therapist, I provide art and verbal psychotherapy for children, youth, adults, and older adults whose concerns may include self-worth, loss and grief, depression, stress, anxiety, spirituality, and transitions in life. I completed my graduate-level diploma in art therapy from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, and have worked in private practice, rehabilitation, hospitals, long-term care homes, and community mental health organisations promising psychotherapy for concerns such as ADHD, depression, multiple chronic illnesses, dementia, eating disorders, and mood disorders. I am always looking for ways to expand my perspective and awareness, and believe that art therapy can help eliminate physical and even linguistic barriers when individuals are given space and support for self-expression, creative exploration, and sharing their stories.
I am open to working with any person at any age, though my clients are usually youth, adults, or older adults, individually or in group therapy. Our session together may integrate art therapy, depth, person-centred and strength-based theories, and mindfulness for a healing and changing process that feels right for you as an individual. I am a registered member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association and the Ontario Art Therapy Association. Outside of sessions, I look forward to long hikes being surrounded by nature, cuddling with my big dog, exploring my own creativity, and working on my spirituality.

Becoming a therapist has been a lifelong dream of mine. Having family members and friends who have suffered through depression and suicidal ideation always motivated me to pursue this career because I did not want anyone to feel what my loved ones went through- feelings of helplessness, stigma, and loneliness.Β My perspective stems from my ethnic background and where I grew up. I am a Chinese-Tibetan woman, a second-generation Indian and a first generation Canadian. My whole life, I have tried to adapt to a culture different from my own. Dealing with discrimination, racism, and prejudice can be disheartening and isolating when you consider that place your home.Β It takes courage to reach out for help especially if that help involves taking an honest look at ourselves - our thoughts, our emotions, our lives. At Your Story, I will accompany you in this journey. If you seek support, want a deeper understanding of yourself, or want someone to talk to, I am here for you. I uphold a non-judgmental, empathic, and trauma-sensitive space within my practice. Therapy is a collaborative relationship where we can work together to assess your current challenges, identify treatment goals and build a pathway to improving your well-being. Being client-focused and goal-oriented, we will develop a therapeutic approach that best fits you. I am currently accepting clients in person and virtually. I would be happy to meet you for a free 15-min phone call consultation, and then you can decide if I am the right therapist for you.Β

Introduction
As a self-identified queer person of colour, Andy brings a unique perspective to supporting people living with challenges associated with cultural identity, sexual health, sexuality/gender identity, and relationship dynamics. Drawing on his extensive clinical experience as a HIV and primary care nurse, Andy works from a perspective of strengths-based resiliency in conjunction with an anti-oppression, trauma-informed, and sex positive lens to help clients navigate through the challenges they encounter as a result of their intersecting identities.
Style & Technique
I believe therapy should be grounded in a collaborative approach that is based on mutual respect, trust, and compassion for the self and others. My approach to therapy is to help clients develop an understanding and practical strategies to support their goals and manage the barriers that impede their activities of daily living. I recognize the importance of addressing each individualβs overall wellbeing as an interconnection between their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual self, which is why I approach therapy in a holistic manner that acknowledges the unique voice and identities of each client. By offering a safe and non-judgemental space for clientβs to explore their innermost thoughts, my goal is to guide clients through their journey of self-discovery as they work towards reclaiming their authentic self filled with love, compassion, and empathy.
